How do the Think Energy case studies fit into my curriculum and exam?
In England and Wales, the topics covered in the case studies are part of the geography AS-level and A-level syllabus. In Scotland they are part of the syllabus for the Scottish Highers and Advanced Highers. Although the detailed curriculum will vary depending on which awarding body your school uses (and the specification within the awarding body), the overall topics covered by each examining body are similar.
You will be assessed through both examinations and coursework. Your teacher will explain how this is divided. He or she will also be able to show you the detailed syllabus. If you look at it, you will see that many of the units include references to case studies, and also that many have much in common with the case studies given here.
